Cialis Daily Use Dose

  • What experience do you guys have with daily cialis use? I have some Cialis pills that are 20’s. I am wanting to take the whole 20mg for daily use. I have done 10mg before and it helped my blood pressure a lot. I have stopped taking Cialis daily and my blood pressure has gone back up quite a bit (genetics).

Do you think there is any negative interactions with a daily use of 20mg? I read online something about creatinine clearance, my GFR is around 60. But I am pretty sure this is due to high muscle mass and a high meat diet, because my urine analysis is always within range. So I wanted to make sure there are no negative affects of a 20mg daily usage on lets say the kidneys.

I did not have any issues with 10mg a day. For what it is worth the only thing I have taken for about 2 years is 250 Test E per week. I do not plan to juice for another 4 months. Also current weight is 250, average body fat, 5’8".

  • 250 at 5’8? Why arent you competing?

Also why not just stick with 10mg since you know it works for you?

Not competing due to school. I am taking a gap year between dental school appilcations in 2019-2020 so I may compete. I finish my degree in chemical biosciences in 3 weeks. I also fundamentally disagree with the judging in modern bodybuilding and how size is a such a huge factor.

But I was planning on doing 20 because the pills I have are 20, they are capsules actually so I cannot split the dose.

  • I wouldnt do 20mg/ED. If you absolutely cant split the dose then I’d recommend 20mg/EOD or E3D. You will still get amazing health benefits being as the half life is roughly 36 hours. I take 10mg/EOD and feel it’s an amazing addition to my TRT.

What do you think the downside is to 20? Just wondering.

I do have really good genes honestly. But I have worked with some really good coaches and was REALLY serious for a couple years. Made most of my progress from age 19-20.

Reading some pubmed articles it seems 20mg/ED can cause some peoples bloodoressure to drop a little too low as the chemical builds up to higher amounts in the system. Have to remember this med was originally created as a bloodpressure medication. If you spread the dose out it doesnt accumulate to the same levels as daily high doses. I dont think theres truly any harm per se in taking 20mg a day, just giving my opinion based of medical literature I’ve read is all. The recommended daily dose is only 5mg so even 10mg is twice the recommended dose, but to each their own.

That’s interesting. I was trying to find some studies on NCBI they were looking at androgen to E2 ratios from cialis treatment. They had treatment groups of 5-20 for a year of treatment. They didn’t mention any issues in the 20mg group.

So the only issue they had was low blood pressure? Reason I’m asking is because I’ve never had close to low blood pressure. If I can hang around 130/90 that’s good for me. But yeah since the half life is so long I can see why it would accumulate so fast. Since I only have 20s I may just incorporate regular breaks to prevent too high of a buildup.

  • I use 10 or 12.5 mg EOD to help with my pump in the gym and for sexual benefits. Any more than than and I get congested, some sinus discomfort, and just feel off. EOD is still decent enough to keep pretty consistent level of the drug in your body.

Little anecdote: When I was natty and used Cialis, it would make feel like shit because it would drop my blood pressure so low. I often felt like sleeping or passing out in the gym. I used to be (and still am sometimes) slightly hypotensive (before Cialis). I would get BP readings below 90/50 most of the time. The lowest being like 85/45 or something. Imagine adding Cialis to that… Gear solved this problem for me lol and I can take Cialis problem-free now 🙂 Even with gear, diastolic is consistently in the 50s or 60s, even with high Test, Sdrol or EQ. Diastolic does vary however, but the highest I’ve seen in it is like 130 after a workout.

I wish I would have saved that article but I didnt and it took alot if digging it find them. Guy above me had a anecdote that supports what I’ve read. Not everyone reacts that way but it can happen.
So cialis isnt like lisinopril in the fact it can tank your bloodpressure, but from my personal experience 10mg daily has lowered my blood pressure from high normal to low normal and helps to maintain it at that level. Everyone is different and if you want to try it every day then by all means give it a try. Just be aware if you start getting light headed or start graying out when standing or squatting down to check your blood pressure. EOD to E3D works just fine with a lower side effect profile in my experience.

  • A lot of misinformation here…

Cialis was originally created for pulmonary arterial hypertension, not hypertension. There is a huge huge difference between these two… Here’s the missing NCBI- https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1885145/

Nobody is at risk of dropping their BP to low with cialis. In fact majority of us who are on heavier blasts use more than just cialis lmao for our BP… It’s not a proper drug to treat hypertension with ppl. Case closed.
