Nolvadex for Daily Use

  • Does anyone use Nolvadex daily or even on cycle?

1.) I read about a couple bodybuilders, one interesting case in particular where he would take 10g of AAS per day. He also believed in taking Nolvadex everyday to keep his ‘natural androgens up.’ Not sure how much this actually helped. But would there be a BB benefit to keeping Nolvadex in a cycle?

2.) Is it possible to take Nolvadex all year? Will there be issues related to this? I was wondering because my HDL usually is around 40, no matter what. Nolvadex historically (and garlic oil) helps bring up my HDL some. Not a tremendous amount, but enough to where I would not mind to take a dose of 10-20 mg per day. Any down side to this?

  • I would not follow the example of any bodybuildier taking 10grams of roids a day / week/ month

I love nolva - I take it instead of traditional AI in most cases , exception being trest. 20mg does me just fine on doses up to 750mg of test a week.

In terms of down sides - I’ve not seen any reflection on my blood work of negative effects , including igf levels but there are so many variables that can influence these things , it’s hard to say “ahah! Nolva did or didn’t do this !” No hair thinning , no sexual dysfunction , IGF levels remained the same etc etc.

Nolva can mimic the action of estrogen (in a nutshell) in the liver which can help increase HDL just like estrogen does. I just want you to understand that if your goal is a more favorable HDL/LDL profile , nolva tends to work great for modestly dosed cycles. If you’re slamming grams and grams or using C17’s , perhaps not so much. Be safe and get bloodwork ! Your great grandkids will thank you for being around.

Yeah I’m not using this guy as my role model by any means. I will try to find the article but basically he was using 10 grams a day of test and anavar. His dad or someone was a phamacist. Anyways just thought that was interesting.

But yes I have not cycled much. I usually do about one per year. I never have any bad markers on liver profile. Typically yes my LDL is little high which is why I want to keep the ratio down, by raising HDL.

Good to know on your experience with Nolva.

Did not specify doses. His protocol was 10 grams of AAS- mix of Anavar and test + nolva

  • This is the dumbest shit I’ve ever read.

Yeah read that shit and it was just as unbelievable as his 10g of gear a day and eating once a day.

  • A long time ago I saw quite a few studies saying tamoxifen is carcinogenic to humans. A quick google search yielded this https://ntp.niehs.nih.gov/ntp/roc/content/profiles/tamoxifen.pdf. Ill admit I did not read through the study. Anyone else ever heard this?

That us interesting. But you know I feel like I am not as concerned with carcinogens as I should be? I mean do you think water is carcinogenic after about 70 years?

20 mg per day I presume

  • if anything I would choose Raloxifene > Nolvadex, it has less of a detrimental effect on IGF-1

I feel the best practice would be to run low enough levels of aromatizing gear that you don’t need to run any additional compounds like aromasin or nolva.
