Sources and Raws Question

  • I recently read that there are regulatory changes with China and how they will stop producing RAWs as there will be serious ramifications if they get caught producing them. Will this present a problem to sources and customers who buy like all of us, or has something similar to this happend before and we shouldn’t worry too much?

Hopefully this creates a good discussion for all of us.

  • Bump, would like to know as well

  • Order enough raws to last you years and store it properly.

It’s not that hard, figure out how many grams you’ll use each year and add 20% for waste.

Then come back and ask how to store it for long term so you don’t have to worry anymore.

The truth is no one knows the future, Xi Jinping is probably gonna placate Trump at some point because Xi isn’t interested in an escalated trade war.

We are entering another election cycle, Trumpy has to appear tough and that he is a man of his word when he promised he’d get rid of the opiod and fent problem. Of course he accomplished nothing in three years and he knows it, but he’s a man that loves to talk about his greatness and so he’s gotta do something to show he’s the right man to accomplish nothing for another four years.

Here’s a good post outlining the changes the OP is referring to: https://science.bio/regulatory-changes-2019-11-25

    It looks ugly.

  • One thing that I feel is being over looked is China’s willingness to actually enforce these rules. Xi agreed to a crackdown on fentanyl after various dealings with Trump but we found out months after that in fact there was no crackdown on the substance. It was kabuki theatrics to appear agreeable. Will this time around be different, maybe, but history says otherwise.

Further still, even if the crackdown is in relation to chinese/american trade dealings, Trump will, at most, be in the WH til 2024, if the Chinese want to hold out until hes gone then its really not that long of a time.
